So often folks dress up for Easter. Some may look pretty spiffy here today! We just aren’t a particularly formal church, so there won’t be a great deal of dressing up in our finest for Easter. However, we are all highly encouraged to take off our rags and be dressed up in the spotless radiance of Christ! We will actually have an opportunity to do that at the conclusion of the message. Wear that ugly rag during worship with disgust and shame! Then put on the new after today’s drama to represent our joy in Christ dressing us in His righteousness that He bought for us on a Friday called “Good” and finished on Easter Sunday with resurrection. The old has gone. The new has come! We are a rags to riches story. Have a blessed Easter!
