The Goal of Cadets: Luke 2:52 states that “Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.” The goal of the Calvinist Cadet Corps, based upon that verse, is to help boys to grow spiritually in all areas of life (devotional, mental, physical, and social) under the instruction of Christian men following a uniquely designed structure, program, and materials.

At Cadets, the boys will explore, work on badges and projects, study God’s word, meet new friends, attend fun outdoor events, and more. Cadets meets Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:00 pm October -April.  This program coordinates with the Fremont Public School calendar and is closed when school is closed.

Our theme for the 2026-2027 Cadet season is “Mountains of Blessings.”

This theme is based on Psalm 125:2 (NIV):
As the mountains surround Jerusalem,
so the Lord surrounds his people
both now and forevermore.

We pray that this theme will challenge cadets and counselors to feel God’s presence in their churches and communities. In doing so, we hope to encourage the boys and men of Cadets to see mountains of blessings as they live for Jesus.

Cadets begins this year on October 7, 2026! You don’t have to be a member of this church to come to Cadets. We welcome all community children! Just show up on any Wednesday night to get signed up!
