Today we continue with our new worship series: “Stories of Abraham: Trusting a Saving God.”

We begin with unpacking Abram’s response to the famine. Last Sunday, we celebrated his move to trust the God he barely knew and go to a land that God promised to show him. Today we learn how easy it is to return to our default way of living in times of difficulty or famine. God’s mercy in the midst of the mess Abram created helps us remember the love and mercy God has toward us.
