On Sunday, July 3 (Fourth of July weekend), our church will be participating in a combined outdoor worship at Veterans’ Park beginning at 10 am. We are looking forward to worshiping together with our brothers and sisters in Christ. Golf carts will be available for those needing assistance entering the park from their parking location. Bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. A Kids Korner will be available for kids ages 4-10. Communion will be served. Fellowship is encouraged following worship and will include refreshments.
For those unable to attend in person, the service will be live-streamed at www.facebook.com/FirstCRCFremont. In case of inclement weather, the service will be held at 1st Christian Reformed Church, 721 Hillcrest Ave, Fremont. We will notify you of alternative plans through email, text, and Facebook. Hope to see you there!

Memorial Day is a day of remembrance for Americans who have died in military service to our nation. We remember the sacrifices of those in our past not only because it is good and right, but because it is essentially important. Without these noble sacrifices, we would not have the present freedom, stability, and security that we enjoy. Without the willingness of citizens to remember the sacrifices of those who come before us, we will have no future as a nation.
May God bless the families of our veterans, and those heroes who paid the ultimate price.
We will gather at the Veterans park (downtown Fremont) for a family-friendly service in celebration and remembrance with area churches including United Methodist, 1st Congregational, Church of the Living Christ, 2nd CRC, 1st CRC, Fremont Christian Church, and Trinity CRC. Bring lawn chairs! If weather becomes an issue, we will notify you of alternative plans through email, text, and Facebook (rain location is 1st CRC).
Kids, there will be worship for you too, but begin the service with mom and dad. There will be balloon art and a children’s message. Refreshments for all will be served following the service. For those who would like assistance getting to the Veterans’ Park lawn, please go to the drop-off location on N Weaver Street behind the amphitheater where golf carts will be available. Golf carts will also be available in the parking lots near the park. Hope to see you there!
