Today, we will begin to explore episodes from David’s life which are “spiritual lows.” Rather than look at his moral catastrophe with Uriah and Bathsheba, we will instead look at events in his life which are much more relatable to us. In Psalm 34 and 1 Samuel 21:10-15, we will focus on the sin of foolishness and God’s gracious restoration. We will also discover not only how these sins show up in our own lives, but also how God kindly deals with us when we stumble.
