As we start a new year, consider how the Gospel motivates and equips us to be disciples who make disciples. We must be strong and steadfast in our own personal faith, and we must make time to diligently study our Bibles. We also must make it a priority in our own lives to obey God’s word. In this way, we can be equipped to pass the torch of faith to the next generation of faithful men and women who will come after us and be the future church.
