In today’s message, we take a look at Saul, aka the Apostle Paul, as he walks down the road to Damascus and has and encounter with Jesus. Paul had been given the authority of the high priest in Jerusalem to wipe the name of Jesus off the face of the earth, but instead he would die proclaiming the name of Jesus. He went from being a tool to erase the name of Jesus to a tool and vessel to spread the name of Jesus. Today, we consider how Paul’s self-righteousness gets replaced with true righteousness from Jesus. We will take some time to think about how our hearts can deceive us into our own self-righteousness, and how true righteousness can only be found in the one and only risen Savior.
