The richest metaphor for understanding our salvation is the metaphor of “adoption.” What does “adoption” give us in relationship with God that we don’t get simply from being “forgiven,” “freed,” and “rescued?” Today we explore how the resurrection power of Jesus Christ gets displayed in Christians’ adoption as God’s sons and daughters. We belong! We have an inheritance! And we will see how that same resurrection power of adoption is on magnificent display in an FRC family’s life. It’s going to be a great morning at YOUR church!
