Holiday preparations are probably at full tilt in your family. Will you all be home for Christmas? “Hopefully, but it’s complicated,” you respond. It’s complicated because “home” may have switched a few times over the years. There were moves to various homes in different locations. It was the same for Jesus. We easily think that Jesus’ hometown was Bethlehem, but don’t speak too quickly. It was complicated for his family too! Over the course of advent, we will explore Jesus’ various homes and feel in awe of God’s divine hand and grand plan in setting Jesus just where he needed to be for what God intended to accomplish.
