On Maundy Thursday, March 28 at 7 p.m., we will celebrate with a Passover Seder and Communion. The Passover Seder is the Old Testament’s salvation supper celebration, and the Lord’s Supper is the New Testament’s salvation supper. Jesus took the richness and depth of the Passover and showed how it revealed His coming sacrifice for sin in the New Testament. Join us for a festive, family-friendly (and fun) Seder Passover meal and Communion time as we explore Jewish history and traditions from Passover to the Lord’s Supper! The Seder will involve some light eating to enhance the teachings of Passover, but it will not be a full meal. Do eat supper before coming! Also bring your Bible, your kids and grandkids, and a pillow for each person you’re bringing. (Nursery will be available.) Please add your name to the list at the Sign-Up Center (or call/email the church office) if you plan to attend so we know how many people to prepare for!
