Today, we will hear the final message in the worship series “Following Jesus in Crazy Times.” Today’s message is entitled: “The Marriage of Mr. & Mr.”

The extremely controversial issue of homosexuality, from a Christian perspective, has many different layers and angles, and often creates many more questions than answers for a lot of people. Big questions:  Do the 6 Bible passages that mention homosexual behavior (Gen. 19: 1-10; Lev. 18: 22; 20:13; Romans 1: 26-27; 1 Cor. 6: 9; 1 Timothy 1: 9-10 ) apply to monogamous, consensual, loving gay relations?  Even more to the point, can 2 men or 2 women date, fall  in love, remain sexually pure before their wedding day, and commit to a lifelong, consensual, Christ-centered, self-giving, monogamous union?  Today we will stand on grace and truth.  Standing on both is hard work!
