Today, we continue with the next message in the worship series ” Following Jesus in Crazy Times.” Today’s message is titled “Cancel Culture.” How should a Christian respond?

In this age of “cancel culture,” let the Christian community call culture to something more. The way to defeat bad and/or sinful ideas is by exposure, discussion, and Biblical persuasion – not by trying to silence or wish them away.

Last week, we were challenged to engage in a friendship with someone we deeply disagree with, and love him/her unconditionally. The current cultural path is to cancel those who hold divergent opinions from ours, and roast them in the realm of public opinion.  We’ve lost grace! Let’s return to the heart of Christian faith and invite culture to do the same.
