GEMS & Cadets Fall 2025 Season Begins October 1!

Looking for a positive, engaging, and meaningful activity for the kids?
Look no further! Our GEMS & Cadets programs are an opportunity for kids in 1st-8th grades to develop or deepen their Christian faith. Trained and caring adult mentors provide a fun, interactive atmosphere with Bible studies, service projects, exciting events, music, crafts, and badges.
The programs run on Wednesday evenings, from October to April from 6:30-8:00 pm following the Fremont public school calendar. You don’t have to be a member of our church for your kids to attend GEMS or Cadets!

1st Annual Free Homecoming Dress Giveaway

First Reformed Church is hosting our 1st Annual Free Homecoming Dress Giveaway Event! Anyone in need of a homecoming dress, come to First Reformed Church of Fremont (348 E. Main St) on Friday, Sept 5 (4 pm to 8 pm) or Saturday, Sept 6 (10 am to 3 pm) to choose from our HUGE variety of new and gently used donated SHORT dresses. Important Note: We will only have short dresses to give away – no shoes, accessories, or long dresses will be available! There are NO qualifications to attend this event – it is open to anyone in the community and surrounding area in need of a homecoming dress.

Rummage Sale – July 30, 31, & August 1

Mark your calendar! Our Church Rummage Sale is coming up soon!

We are hosting our 3rd annual rummage sale on Wednesday, July 30 and Thursday, July 31 from 9 am to 5 pm , and Friday, August 1 from 9 am – 4 pm downstairs in our Fellowship Hall. We have TONS and TONS and TONS of great finds and treasures at amazing get-rid-of prices!

All proceeds will go to benefit our GEMS girls program and our Free Bible Giveaway program. We invite you to come and shop our sale to benefit two great causes!

Community Worship @ the Shack – July 4th Weekend

On Sunday, July 6, (4th of July weekend) our church will be participating in a combined outdoor worship at The Shack (2263 W. 14th Street, White Cloud) beginning at 10 am. (There will NOT be a church service at our building.) Important Note: We normally do our community worship at Veterans Park, but 4th of July weekend it will be held at the Shack. We are looking forward to worshiping together with our brothers and sisters in Christ! A Kids Korner will be available for kids ages 4-10. They are NOT planning to livestream the event, so be sure to come to the park in person! An offering will be received for Grace Adventures, a Christian ministry that is focused on helping students, adults, and families grow spiritually in their relationship with Jesus Christ. FRC 4th Annual Creators Camp

God has created all of us with specific gifts. At Creators Camp, kids will discover and use those God-given gifts and talents!

Kids will have an opportunity to explore a variety of crafts, creative skills, and art genres to uncover the talents and skills that God gave them. From crafts such as jewelry making, arts & crafts, to skills like painting, sewing, archery, BB gun target practice, and even exciting games and activities like laser tag, kids will have fun and learn useful skills. Some classes will have final projects that the kids will take home with them!

Our third annual Creators Camp runs from June 23-25, evenings from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Signup is open from June  3 – June 19 or when classes are full – whichever comes first! You must sign up in advance to attend!

Memorial Day Weekend – Community Worship Service @ Veterans Memorial Park

On Sunday, May 25, (Memorial Day weekend) our church will be participating in a combined outdoor worship at Veterans’ Memorial Park beginning at 10 am. (There will NOT be a church service at our building.) We are looking forward to worshiping together with our brothers and sisters in Christ! Please bring your own lawn chair to sit on. Golf carts will be available for those needing assistance entering the park from their parking location. A Kids Korner will be available for kids ages 4-10. They are NOT planning to livestream the event, so be sure to come to the park in person. In case of inclement weather, the service will be held at First CRC, 721 Hillcrest Ave, Fremont. We will notify you of alternative plans through email, text, and Facebook. An offering will be received for Community Closet, a ministry that provides clothing and household goods to those in need. Hope to see you there!
