Today, we look at Chapter 4 of the book of Hebrews. As soon as you start reading Chapter 4, you might start to experience deja vu, because a lot of what is in Chapter 4 was also written in Chapter 3. Sometimes as humans, we don’t always do the best job of listening, and this means sometimes we need to be told things more than once. But we also repeat things that are important in our lives, because there is real danger if we miss things the first time. God does this as well! Many times, Scripture repeats itself, because what is written is important. When God does this in Scripture, we need to pay extra close attention! This week, we look again at the importance of entering God’s rest, how that connects to the Sabbath, and what it means when God repeats himself in Scripture.
