We live in a society where if it isn’t handed to us\, we can take things into our own hands and make it happen through our own labor and efforts. But there is danger when we take this mindset into our faith. The God we serve is the one that knows what is best and makes things happen at the proper times and places according to His perfect will. As a Christian\, when we try to take matters into our own hands\, we leave God’s rest. DESCRIPTION:Today\, we look at Chapter 4 of the book of Hebrews. As soon as you start reading Chapter 4\, you might start to experience deja vu\, because a lot of what is in Chapter 4 was also written in Chapter 3. Sometimes as humans\, we don’t always do the best job of listening\, and this means sometimes we need to be told things more than once. But we also repeat things that are important in our lives\, because there is real danger if we miss things the first time. God does this as well! Many times\, Scripture repeats itself\, because what is written is important. When God does this in Scripture\, we need to pay extra close attention! This week\, we look again at the importance of entering God’s rest\, how that connects to the Sabbath\, and what it means when God repeats himself in Scripture.  \nPlease join us today for a timely and relevant message!
