Visitors Guide
(or What to Expect)

If you are thinking about paying us a visit, here is some information to help you find your way.

Arrival
If you need a map to our church, click here. Our morning service starts at 9:30 A.M.  At our church some dress in suits and dresses, many wear jeans, but most wear trousers and slacks, button-down or polo shirts, and blouses.  Wear what makes you feel comfortable.

The parking lot is located behind the church.  As you approach the doors seen in the picture to the right you will  be greeted by  members of our Hospitality Team.  Just a smile, a "Good Morning" and a handshake, nothing more.

Once you enter the doors you'll see a wide set of stairs that lead up to our Gathering Center.  You can head right up the steps, or if you wish to use the elevator, go left around the steps and the ramped hallway will lead you to our fellowship area. Our fellowship area has a TV set up where you can watch or listen to the service if you wish. The elevator is located in the far left corner of the fellowship room, and will bring you to the Gathering Center upstairs. We also have spots along the center aisle of the Sanctuary where you can be seated in your wheelchair instead of a pew.

If you took the steps, once you are at the top, to the right, you'll see two doors. The one on the right is the nursery for 0-2 year olds. The one on the left is the toddler room for 2-3 year olds. When you enter the nursery you will be asked to sign-in and  also assigned a pager. There are also bathrooms located to the right of where you are standing.

Again at the top of the steps, if you look to the far left back corner, you'll see the doors to the Sanctuary (the big room where the service is held)

The Service
After you are seated you will notice a 'Connection Card' in front of you. You may fill it out if you choose and either stick it in the offering plate or bring it to the Welcome Center (part of the Gathering Center) after the service where you will receive a small gift and be able to talk with someone about our church if you wish.

Our service begins with the Praise Team leading us in worship and praise to our God through music.  A projection screen is used to assist with the words.  We usually stand for this, but feel free to sit if you choose.

Then we have a Children's Message were children may come to the front to hear a special message just for them.  After the Children's Message, September through May, we dismiss all 3-4 year olds to the back of the Sanctuary where the children can take part in "Worship Center", a special program where kids get to partake in various fun activities. The Worship Center is at the bottom of the stairs in the back of the Sanctuary.  If it is during the summer months, all 3-4 year olds can go the the Toddler room for Junior Church.

Next the pastor leads us though scripture and a message. After that our offering is received.  As a visitor you are not expected to put anything in the offering at all, other than possibly your 'Connection Card'.

At the end of the service, we encourage you to join us for coffee, juice and cookies in the Gathering Center.

We hope to see you soon!
