Most of our senior high would say our Youth Group is just plain cool.This year a new Youth Director joined us. We are truly blessed to have someone who no longer a "youth" be someone who has been given the gifts necessary to connect with Sr High Youth.

Below we have a short bio of Mirf, our God fearing, fearless youth leader....

"Like most teens, I was looking for a place to belong. Halfway through my junior year of high school a group of Christian friends loved me to Jesus. I knew my soul had found it's home. God called me immediately into evangelism, starting bible studies and prayer meetings for friends. I've traveled the country speaking at youth gatherings, churches, high schools, universities, and prisons sharing a message of positive faith with thousands of teens.

I worked at Mel Trotter Ministries in downtown Grand Rapids for 3 years as Program Director for at-risk youth. In 2001 my wife, Annette & I started Skelletones, an inner-city music venue & cafe with an evangelistic heart. We were voted #1 All Ages Venue in Michigan by The Detroit Free Press and featured as a centerfold in SPIN magazine. We are the second largest & longest running all ages venue in the country. We are blessed to have opportunity, along with our wonderful staff, to reach thousands of teens each year. "
