Prayer Team Ministries
We have prayer teams consisting of 2 or more that meet together once a week for 1/2 hour to pray for the needs of 1st Reformed. We also have some who have asked to be on this Team Ministry who pray alone. The Teams pray in person or over the phone. At the present time we have 11 teams praying and 7 people praying individually.
A prayer sheet is sent to these people with issues to be prayed over, this is updated monthly.
There is also a 15 minute prayer time open to all before each Sun. morning worship service to pray over the entire service.
There is a Team of people who each week are available to pray for anyone desiring prayer after the a.m. service. The people currently involved in this are Ed & Kiesella Cook, Faith Fosheim, Ron Glass, Karen Oakes, Vivian TenBrink, Judy Vissia.
Wednesday Night Prayer Service is an opportunity to pray over 1st Reformed, our county, state and nation. An elder usually leads this service and is mainly attended by our Senior Citizen saints.
A Prayer Chain is another means used to pray over people with illnesses, joys and sorrows.
Bev Glass and RuthAnn Ayre are the people initially contacted and then Dianne Kempf or Linda Guikema activate the prayer chain.
