Grow Team - Matthew 28:19-20
The purpose of the Grow Team is to create, plan and organize ministry with faith, vision, and direction; that develops spiritual maturity and personal growth in the hearts and lives of those in the body of Christ and community.
Ministry opportunities:
- B.E.A.T. (Bible Education and Training) Classes meet each Sunday (Sept. - May) 10:45 until 12:15 and are available for all ages. Child care is provided.
- J.O.Y. (Junior Outstanding Youth) Bible study and fun for 6th through 8th grade youth. The group meets the first and third Sundays from 4-5:45 p.m. in the Youth Room. The group does service projects, a variety of activities and they attend the annual Exodus event.
- Sr. High Youth Ministries is for 9th - 12th grade students. They meet in the Youth Room from 7-9 p.m. every Sunday. Students are also involved in LTGs (Life Transformation Groups).
- Kingdom Kids is for 4 and 5 year olds. Children enjoy Bible lessons, crafts and games.
- Cadets - for boys 1st-8th grade. Each meeting has a time of Bible study, followed by badgework, projects and crafts. Special activities include campouts, council events and a car derby. The purpose of Cadeting is to help boys grow more Christ-like in all areas of life.
G.E.M.S. (Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior) is for girls 1st-8th grade. Their meetings begin with Bible study, followed by badgework and craft projects. The girls love to sing, have a service project during the year and some additional activities. Our purpose is to bring the girls into a living relatioship with Jesus Christ and teach them ways they can be of service to others.
- Women's Bible Study, open to women of all ages, meets the first and third Wednesday mornings each month (Sept.-May). All are welcome! Other studies also available during the year.
