U-Turn Conference—West Michigan Gathering!

 Registration forms are at the Information Center. If a group of 20 or more attend the cost is only $15. Please do not let the cost keep you from attending. Speakers will be Kevin Harney, Teaching Pastor; and Bob Bouwer, Senior Pastor, both from Faith Church in Dyer, Indiana. Simple Church

A class on the book Simple Church, facilitated by Pastor Roger, and Al Vissia will begin. If you plan on attending this class or if you are unable to attend this class but would like to read the book, they are available at the Information Center. Please sign the sign out sheet if you take a book. If you would like to buy a book, cost is $17. You can either place it in the offering or in the mail slot outside the church office; just be sure to indicate it is for ’Simple Church.’

From the Crafters & Laughter Group at the Stone House last weekend

It was a great weekend! We were saddened that two of the women were unable to go because of illness, however, the twelve of us worked hard on our projects. It is always fun to tally up how much we did at the end of the weekend. We actually completed:
- 247 scrapbook pages
- sewed 51 American Girl items
- sewed on 194 snaps
- made 20 quilt blocks
-
and completed one table runner.
Of course, we had so many laughs, they could never be counted!
Our weekend at the Stone House for 2009 is going to be Feb. 6-8. Anyone interested, please call Ruth Ann at the church office (924-4950) or at home (924-3411) as soon as possible. The list is growing and our deposit will need to be made the first part of March.
